The Smithsonian Institute's 12th Annual Festival of American Folklife October 1978

The Smithsonian Institute recognized Pimentel & Sons for their unique contribution to the American folklife. For the Pimentels, this meant only one thing:   the classical guitar. The Smithsonian wanted the world to know that the name Pimentel means the best handcrafted classical guitars in the world.
